Donor wall and campaign plate orders

A campaign order is a list of plates with one design behind it. Donor Wall Studio treats the header, the level titles and the donor plates as separate line items. Sixty names in three groups can then be quoted, proofed and packed in the sequence they will hang.

How do you order plates for an entire donor list at once?

Build a sheet with one row per plate: recognition name, recognition group, year and wall position. Add rows for the header and each group title. Donor Wall Studio quotes from that sheet, proofs it in the same sequence and packs by group. Reserved positions stay on the drawing and are produced only when you order them.

What does a church building fund order look like?

A church has finished a building fund with 64 gifts to recognize. The committee chooses the Perpetual Donor Wall System for the fellowship hall. Its sheet has three recognition groups: 8 Cornerstone names, 20 Pillar names and 36 Friend names. Eight plus twenty plus thirty-six makes 64 donor plates. A walnut header carries the wall title, and three smaller title plates name the groups. The committee also marks 16 open positions for pledges still being paid. Those appear on the layout but not on the order. The proof arrives sorted by group, then alphabetically by family name, which is how the volunteer mounting the plates will work across the wall.

Work from the initial donor list, available wall area and expected expansion. Decide how new names will be ordered, and leave practical room for adding plates without moving every existing entry.

How is a long donor list turned into an order?

01

Settle the recognition rules first

Agree who is listed, what the groups are called and how names are sorted inside a group. A late change to sort order moves every plate, so the committee should sign off the rules before the list.

02

Separate fixed pieces from name plates

The header, wall title and group titles are made once. Donor plates repeat one size and layout with different text. Listing them apart keeps the quote readable and makes later additions simple to work out.

03

Number every wall position

Give each slot on the layout a number and put that number on its row. Plates can then be packed and labeled by position, and whoever mounts them does not have to rebuild the sequence from memory.

Questions about donor wall and campaign plate orders

How do you order plates for an entire donor list at once?

Build a sheet with one row per plate: recognition name, recognition group, year and wall position. Add rows for the header and each group title. Donor Wall Studio quotes from that sheet, proofs it in the same sequence and packs by group. Reserved positions stay on the drawing and are produced only when you order them.

Does a larger donor plate order lower the cost per plate?

Not automatically. One shared plate size and layout reduces setup, while long inscriptions, mixed sizes and logo plates add work. No quantity discount is built into the estimate tool on our product pages either. Donor Wall Studio prices the actual list, so plan your campaign budget around the written quote and not around a guessed rate.

Should we order blank plates for future donors?

Only if you want them on the wall now. A blank filler keeps the grid looking complete and is swapped for an engraved plate later. An open position with nothing mounted adds no pieces to the order but shows the bare backing. Tell us which look you prefer, and count fillers as real pieces.

How do we add donor names after the campaign closes?

Send the earlier order reference with the new rows and their position numbers. The plate drawing you approved is kept with that order record, so additions follow the same size and letter style. If the first run was some time ago, include a photo of a mounted plate so the finish can be compared.

Which donor recognition plaque service do you need?

For donor recognition plaques, Donor Wall Studio prices from the design, names now, room to grow, wall or gift, wording, artwork and mounting day. A sketch of the donor recognition plaques is enough to start; details are agreed before production.
